Germany could see ‘widespread use’ of driverless buses and trucks in a decade

German cities will see the first self-driving passenger ‘robo-buses’ on roads in 2026 “or 2027 at the latest”, according to the head of Germany’s Motor Transport Authority (KBA) who is pushing to expand the technology.
